Installation instructions for engineered flooring
Stage 1: Before installation:
-
Make sure that all construction work is complete and the installation of the floor covering is the last step;
-
Make sure the relative humidity and temperature are acceptable: 40-65% and 18-22 degrees respectively.
-
Deliver the boxes with your wooden flooring to the installation site and leave them for a few days. Do not open the boxes in advance. The parquet must adjust to the temperature and humidity of the room. Follow this rule, especially during the winter season or when international deliveries are made from different climates, to prevent temperature and humidity 'shocks' to the wood floor.

Stage 3: Installation:
-
Before starting the installation - draw a line parallel to the wall using chalk or another marker.
-
Start the installation, leaving expansion gaps of 10-15 mm along the long and short sides of the boards.
-
Start by gluing from left to right. Make sure that the tongue of the floorboard is facing outwards towards the wall.
-
Continue installing row by row, checking all the time that each row is installed correctly.
-
Use the cut boards to finish or start each row. This allows you to save the long boards for the centre of the room and create a more natural pattern.
-
Once the installation is complete, we recommend that you allow the space to cure for 24 hours before using it (see hand glue for more details).
-
Install the slats, if necessary, by fixing them to the floor, not to the wall.
-
Don't forget to clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner after installation. Make sure there is no glue on the surface of the installed floor. Use a wet microfibre cloth to clean the floor. The use of a wood floor cleaner ensures the best cleaning results.
